HIMCR-Challenge #201-Freestyle

Hello crafty peeps!  This week's challenge @ Hiding in My Craft Room is sponsored by Freckled Fawn.  Check out their products HERE!

On to the challenge.  Unfortunately I didn't have anything from Freckled Fawn's shop to use.  This week's challenge is Freestyle, which is sometimes more difficult than having an assigned task.  LOL.  As chance would have it, my daughter has a birthday party to attend today and the invitation has a cute Minnie Mouse theme....and thus the task was defined.

I made a card for the birthday girl using a Peek-a-boo card cut file from SVG Cutting Files and a Minnie girl cut file from PPbN.  The sentiment and tag are from Jaded Blossom.

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to check out what my co-DT members have created!  Oh, and don't forget to link up your challenge project @ HIMCR!

For my project, I chose a super simple image from Cricut's Tie the Knot cartridge.  It is a dashing Tuxedo treat box!

This box took no time at all to put together.  You could add a gift card for a groom, add treats and use on table at wedding or reception,  make a cute little gift for to give to your young man going to Prom!

Now go check out what my awesome co-DT members came up with.   Don't forget to create your own project and join the challenge @ Cut It Up Challenges!

See ya next time!

Cut It Up Challenge #71-Misty

Hello crafty peeps.  Time for another Super fun challenge @ Cut It Up Challenge Blog.    Our sponsor for this challenge is Cute as a Button.
I have never used Glimmer mist or color shine, etc.  I found this challenge, a.......CHALLENGE!I had no idea what I was going to create.  Finally, I chose a color and went from there.

I made this tag using a die from Jaded Blossom.  I added Teal Color Shine to the inner tag to create my sky background for a Rainbow stamp that I then colored with Prisma pencils.  I added this fun sentiment (both stamps from Jaded Blossom) and a piece of ribbon.  It's really hard to see the shimmer in this picture, but its there.

I decided to add my tag to a clear pillow box filled with Skittles candy(Rainbow Seeds).  I need to add another bag.  Who knew 1 package would not be enough!? LOL!
Now it's your turn to create something fun and join the CHALLENGE!  See ya next time!

I have the honor of being this week's Guest Designer at Die Cuttin' Divas Sports Challenge.  Thursday is National Golf Day, so I made a golf cart from the cute file at SVG Cutting Files.

I filled a clear treat bag from Jaded Blossom with a few Hershey Nuggets and placed them in the cart.
My hubby doesn't golf, but I have a few friends who do.  So who gets the cart???????

HIMCR=NSD-Fly Away

Glad you stopped by for another challenge!  Our sponsor is Sweet and Sassy Stamps!

I hope you are enjoying National Scrapbook Day and the awesome challenges at Hiding In My Craft Room today.  The design team is super talented and has some great inspiration to share.

For my project, I chose this cute little girl flying a kite.  (Just 2 weekends ago, my hubby took my 9 y/o daughter out to fly her kite and she had a blast.  I told her this little girl was her.)

The challenge is a color challenge: Old Daffodil Petals.
I added a fun sentiment from Jaded Blossom Stamps.

See ya next time!

HIMCR=NSD-HapBEE Birthday!

Thanks for stopping by for another challenge.  Our sponsor for this challenge is Digi Digi Doodle!

I chose 2 images for this card.  One is inside and the other is outside.

Since the challenge is May Flowers, I added a little blue flower with a large brad in the center.  I also added a little ink to my honeycomb background.  Of course the honeycomb effect is thanks to my Cuttlebug and folder.

See ya next time!

HIMCR-NSD-Happy Birthday!

Happy National Scrapbooking Day!  So glad you could join us for our 2nd Challenge of the day @ Hiding in My Craft Room.

Our challenge sponsor is Scrapbook Society/My Besties.

For my project, I chose this cute little girl holding balloons.

I must admit, I've never really used digital stamps and I am so out of my comfort zone.  I did decide to have fun with it, and although I need lessons on using colors and shading, I think she'll do.

See ya next time.

May Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons Guest Designer

Today I have a card and candy treat box using PPPR Movie Monsters 2 and Stitched Shapes files,

I just love these movie monsters and they are so super easy to put together.  The treat holder was made using the Jaded Blossom-Candy Caddy die.  I also used Jaded Blossom Mini Tag Dies 2 to add my sentiments.

I had so much fun making these.  I added a little ink and some dimensionals to make them pop!
Here are the files I used at Pretty Paper, Pretty Ribbons.

I want to thank Lisa @ PPPR for allowing me to Guest Design today.  She is having an awesome Challenge that ends May 8th, "Go Green."  She also has some amazing files that are "green" friendly!  Check out the Challenge HERE.
